Community Encouraged to Welcome Home Lubbock All-Stars at Airport

The Lubbock Western All-Stars are scheduled to land in Lubbock tonight. They will be flying into Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport. They team is taking a bus from Williamsport to Baltimore and then flying into Dallas. From Dallas, American Eagle will fly them to Lubbock. Landing at LIA is scheduled for 6:55 pm. NewsChannel 11 will be there when they arrive.

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce is encouraging the community to join them at the airport to help welcome back the team They are asking people to gather at the baggage claim 1 area on the east end of the terminal at 6:30 pm. The chamber says "the community is encouraged to bring "Welcome Back" and congratulatory signs."
