Need To Know Information About Thursday's Western Little League Celebration

The Western All-Stars returned to Lubbock on Monday and Thursday's parade and celebration is to show everyone's appreciation for all the team has done for the city. The motorcade will consist of 8 convertibles for the team and SUV's carrying their families. The motorcade will be escorted by marching bands and Lubbock's first responders.

The parade will start in the parking lot of the United Market Street at 50th and Indiana. It's going to loop around in the parking lot and exit the parking lot onto Indiana, head north on Indiana just for a moment before they hang a left turning west on 50th Street. Spectators for the parade are encourages to line up along the north side of 50th for the best vantage point.

Once the motorcade leaves Market Street it will head west down 50th all the way to Slide Road and then turn north. Before gets to Slide it will pick up the Texas Tech Marching Band at the Santa Fe restaurant near Slide. The marching band will join the motorcade there and make its way north along Slide to City Bank Parkway.

The motorcade will eventually turn at City Bank Parkway where they'll hang a left heading westbound, toward the parking lot where the celebration festivities will be held.

The festivities will include marching bands, food and your chance to welcome home the Lubbock Little League Western All-Stars in person.
