Lubbock Power & Light Meeting Postponed

Lubbock Power and Light postponed their meeting scheduled for this afternoon, amid allegations of open meeting violations.

The LP&L board was scheduled to discuss the possible transfer of one million dollars to the Lubbock city budget.  Such a move could help lower the proposed tax rate.

Yesterday, Newsradio 1420 raised concerns that the meeting had not been properly posted.

We're told the meeting will be rescheduled for a later date.
