U-Lofts Still Not Safe for Occupancy

The U-Lofts, at 1001 University, are still not safe for occupancy. That's the latest word from city inspectors.

Lubbock Fire Marshals visited the condominium complex late Thursday afternoon, and they say the fire system is still not up to code.

U-Loft developers say they're working around the clock to try and get the building up to code.

More than 140 tenants are currently living in hotels.
