Two Injury Rollover Caused by Red Light Runner - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Police say a red light runner is to blame for a collision at 82nd and Milwaukee just before 11 a.m. Friday.

Police say Homa Short, 64, was driving a Hyundai Santa Fe, when he ran the red light. He collided with Ford Escape in the intersection. The Hyundai landed on its top.

Emergency crews used the jaws of life to rescue Short's wife, Linda Short, age 61.

The couple was taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries. The driver of the Ford was not injured.
