Two bank robbery suspects are now admitting they did it.
Friday morning, Curt Howell pleaded guilty to credit union robbery, aiding and abetting and bank robbery. The judge sentenced him to just over 11 years in prison for robbing the Lubbock Westex Credit Union and Plains Capital Bank last September. He must also pay more than $33,000 in restitution.
Jesse Guzman now faces up to 25 years in prison for robbing the First National Bank in Amherst in February 2007. Guzman pleaded guilty in Lubbock Federal Court this week.
