Motorcyclist Killed In Lamb County Accident

A motorcyclist was killed after pulling out in front of a car in Lamb County Sunday afternoon.

DPS troopers say the accident occurred seven miles south of Olton on Highway Farm to Market Road 168 around 1:00 p.m. Sunday.

Ronnie Mack Hill, 48, of Del Rio was parked on the south shoulder of the road when he attempted to make a U-turn on his bike.

Troopers say Noe Lopez of Olton was driving southbound in a 2005 Ford car attempting to pass another car when the motorcycle pulled out in front of him.

Hill, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from his 1979 Honda motorcycle. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the Ford car was taken to Covenant where he was treated and released with minor injuries.
