Abernathy Volunteer Fire Department Horses Around For a Cause - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Abernathy Volunteer Fire Department was horsing around for a good cause Sunday.

The group hosted their 3rd Annual Horseshoe Tournament Sunday evening at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Abernathy.

Each participant paid $20 to enter. All proceeds will benefit the West Texas Muscular Dystrophy Association.

In addition to this event, the Abernathy Fire Department kicked off their Fill the Boot campaign.

The money raised will benefit West Texas MDA and summer camp for Jerry's Kids.
