Texas Tech Hopes to Break Records at Home Opener

Texas Tech needs your help to break a record this weekend. The Red Raiders are trying to set a new home opener attendance record at the football game this Saturday.

So far, more than 47,000 tickets have been sold. The record to beat is 52,991 tickets sold when Texas Tech played Southern California in 1979.  

Kick-off is at 6 p.m. at Jones AT&T Stadium. The Red Raiders play the University of Texas El Paso Miners.
