Free Health Screenings Available Saturday

If you need to get your health in check, this is the weekend to do it. 

The Lubbock Heart Hospital, located on North Loop 289 and Quaker is hosting a health fair Saturday. From 10 am until 2 pm, there will be free screenings for body-fat, blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes. There will also be games for the kids and food and raffle tickets. Proceeds benefit the 2007 Heart Walk.

There is another health fair Saturday from 10 am until 1 pm on the square in Slaton. There will be plenty of free screenings and health information. United Bood Services will also be taking blood and the South Plains Food Bank will be accepting donations.
