State Farm Insurance and Habitat for Humanity are getting together for a road trip through Texas. They're helping build 19 homes for 19 families in 19 cities in Texas, including Lubbock.

Saturday they put the hammer and nail to a home for a single mom and her six kids.

"It's the first two story built by Habitat. So we're real proud of that," said Nelda Jett with State Farm.

The joint project for all the homes in Texas will only take one month to complete.
