Young Conservatives Commemorate 9-11 Anniversary - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

In observance of the sixth anniversary of 9-11, "The Young Conservatives of Texas" placed nearly three thousand flags around Texas Tech's Memorial Circle.

Each one represents a life that was taken during the terrorist attacks.

The group will also hold a special service at Memorial Circle Tuesday morning. It will begin at 9:11am, following a moment of silence.

Lubbock County Plans 9-11 Memorial Everyone is invited to the Lubbock County Courthouse 9-11 ceremony honoring our military men and women fighting the war on terror and memorial to the victims of the 9-11 attack.
