Odessa Officers Remembered on 9/11

Among the many first responders being remembered on 9/11, are the Odessa officers injured or killed while responding to a domestic disturbance over the weekend.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Corporal Abel Marquez remains in critical condition at University Medical Center, here in Lubbock. 

His fellow officers, Corporals Arlie Jones and Scott Gardner were shot and killed. Their funerals will be in Odessa Wednesday afternoon. Lubbock police officers will be providing traffic assistance. 

The alleged shooter in this case, Larry White, is jailed without bond on two counts of capital murder and three counts of attempted capital murder.
