Western All-Stars Honored By County Commissioners - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The celebration continues for the Western Little League All-Stars.

Tuesday morning, the Lubbock County Commissioners presented the little leaguers with plaques.

The team of course, took home third place in the Little League World Series and commissioners say that was publicity the county couldn't afford to buy.

"Several million dollars could not have paid for the publicity that you brought to Lubbock," said Patti Jones, Lubbock County Commissioner

The boys also autographed posters at Tuesday's event.
