Consider This... 9/11 Remembered - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

9/11. Most remember exactly where they were...and who could soon forget what they saw.

Back then, television stations across the country were criticized for repeatedly airing the footage from that Tuesday morning. Now, I don't think it is seen enough.

So today, we look back on the events that changed our world forever, and the images that should never be forgotten.  

Consider this, as time passes, I believe seeing those images are more important than ever. Why? So our children and grandchildren will understand the reality of the world we live in and never take their freedom for granted.

To every firefighter, police officer, EMT, First Responder and every man and woman in uniform at home and abroad, we say thank you.

And to every victim and every family touched by 9/11, may we never forget.
