Texas Tech Reports Freshmen Record Enrollment - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Texas Tech University is reporting a record freshman enrollment.

President Jon Whitmore says, "As we have more students, we need more faculty, more buildings and more research. It's exciting to be here since we're in a growth mode."

There are 4,524 freshmen enrolled at the university this year, and total enrollment is at a near-record level with more than 28,000 students.
