Tech Earns #23 Ranking In Coaches Poll - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Texas Tech baseball team made its first appearance of the season in the ESPN/Baseball Weekly Coaches Poll on Monday as the Red Raiders debuted at #23. The Red Raiders have been ranked in both the Collegiate Baseball Magazine Top 30 and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Top 30 and have been the top vote getter on two different occasions in the ESPN/Baseball Weekly Poll.

A total of seven Big XII teams are ranked in this week's poll as Baylor leads the pack at #9, followed by:

• #13 Nebraska
• #14 Texas
• #20 Oklahoma State
• #21 Texas A&M
• #22 Oklahoma
• #23 Texas Tech
