Running a Stop Sign Causes Collision, 2 Injured

A teen driver remains hospitalized Wednesday, after he failed to stop at a stop sign.

Authorities say Kip Dallas, 19, was westbound on County Road 6300, when he failed to stop at the Milwaukee intersection. His Toyota slammed into the driver's side of a Chevy Tahoe.

Rescuers used the jaws of life to free Dallas. EMS took him to University Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition Wednesday night.

The driver of the Tahoe, Marsha O'Connor, 53, suffered minor injuries.
