Lubbock City Employee Investigated for Sexual Assault

A Lubbock city employee is under investigation for allegations of sexual assault. The name of the female victim is not being released.

Charges have not been filed. Right now, a police investigation and internal investigation are ongoing. However, the city has placed the employee in question on paid administrative leave.

    According to officials with the Texas Department of Transportation, a tanker was heading south on FM 2130 towards Highway 114, about a mile and a half east of Smyer.
