Lubbock Police Involved in High Speed Chase

Lubbock Police arrested a man after a short but dramatic chase.

Police began chasing the suspect around 6 p.m. Sunday after spotting him driving south in the nNorthbound lanes on I27 near 4th Street. Officers chased the man for about 20 minutes until they were finally able to stop him on Highway 84 in Lynn County.

Throughout the chase, the suspect made motions suggesting he had a gun but police were unable to confirm that Sunday night.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the Lynn County Jail.

NewsChannel 11 has learned the suspect was transferred back to Lubbock Sunday evening but charges are pending.
