Two Injured in Weekend Accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A man and woman remain hospitalized following an accident in northwest Lubbock. Police say the driver of a white car was driving east in the westbound lanes on North Loop 289, around 11:38 p.m. Sunday.

He allegedly hit an oncoming pickup truck before slamming into a pole. The driver of the car, a 37-year-old man, was taken to UMC with serious injuries. The driver of the truck, a 23-year-old woman, suffered multiple fractures. She remains hospitalized at Covenant hospital in critical condition.
