A Lubbock Christian University student is one step closer to going to trial. Late Monday afternoon, a Lubbock County Grand Jury indicted Jerica Hart for Intoxication Manslaughter.
Police say the 19-year-old had a blood alcohol level that was more than twice the legal limit when she allegedly hit a man in the 1500 block of University on July 29th. The victim, Matthew Paul Henderson, died one day after the crash.
The Grand Jury also indicted 21-year-old Isaac Scott on one count of solicitation of a child. Scott is accused of chatting sexually with an 11 year old back in June, and setting up a meeting with the child.
Officers arrested him at McDonald's at 112 North University.
