Almost 50 Texas Tech baseball fans who planned to fly with the team to Lincoln, Nebraska, for a weekend series against the Cornhuskers are out of luck. The school says that its scheduled charter flight has been canceled after the charter company went out of business on Monday.
Tech says a busy sports weekend with NCAA basketball tournaments kept it from working out deals with other charters. The university says that it will refund the $350 each fan paid for the trip.
