A company that plans to build an ethanol plant near Clovis, New Mexico says it has followed state and federal regulations about notifying the public about its plans.
Representatives of Conagra Trade Group testified Friday during a public hearing on an air quality permit for the proposed plant.
The State Environmental Improvement Board held the hearing after an appeal was filed on the grounds that the company didn't correctly notify residents of the plants location.
A hearing officer says the board will make a decision at its November 14th meeting.
