Lubbock police have released surveillance photos in the latest two armed robberies, now believed to be related.
Take a look at the surveillance photo, pictured right, taken from inside the CVS 24 Hour Pharmacy at 34th and Slide. Police say the man was armed with a knife when he demanded money around 2 a.m. Sunday. He got away with an unknown amount of cash.
Police believe he's the same man who tried to rob the 7-11 at 34th and Memphis about 30 minutes earlier. According to police, a man fitting the description ran off empty-handed, after the clerk threatened to call police.
The suspect is described as a white male, around 6'0" tall, weighing 170 pounds with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black and white baseball cap, a blue, long-sleeved shirt, green khaki shorts, and black and white running shoes.
