Lubbock Infant Dies After Being Left Unattended in Bathtub

A Lubbock infant is dead after she was left unattended in a bathtub Wednesday afternoon.

Around 1:00 p.m., Lubbock Police responded to an apartment in the 4600 block of Boston. The 13-month old child was reportedly unresponsive, and not breathing.

EMS transported the child to Covenant Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

Police say the infant was bathing with another one year old and a two year old, when the responsible adult reportedly fell asleep. At least one adult male was in the home at the time.
