Injured Lubbock Soldier Returning Home

A Lubbock soldier injured in Iraq back in May is coming home.

Jason Bates is learning to walk all over again, after an explosive device forced doctors to amputate his leg.

The Monterey High School graduate is expected to arrive at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport on Monday afternoon. He'll be on the 4:35 p.m. flight.
