The two dogs that attacked an elderly Lubbock man will be euthanized. 

That decision was made Wednesday at a dangerous dog hearing. Investigators say the two pit bulls attacked a rat terrier before going after the dog's owner. The 77-year-old man was taking out his trash last month when he was bitten.

The owner of the pit bulls could face a third degree felony charge and jail time
