Three Injured in Wreck Near Idalou - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A man and two women are hospitalized following an accident near Idalou.

DPS troopers say the driver of a car hit an embankment just after midnight Friday at the intersection of county roads 6200 and 3100, just west of Idalou. Idalou firefighters used two set of jaws of life to free the victims from the car.

The male driver was flown to UMC with critical injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt. The female passenger in the front seat suffered injuries to her head and chest. She and another female passenger were also flown to UMC with critical injuries.

There is no word on what caused the accident.
