Wolfforth City Council Approves Earlier Beer Sales on Saturdays

Wolfforth residents planning a Saturday cookout, can now pick up their beer a little sooner.

On Monday, the Wolfforth City Council approved the 8:00 a.m. start on Saturdays, as part of a compromise. The original proposal was for earlier purchase, seven days a week.

Merchants say the earlier hours will be especially helpful for tailgaters during the Texas Tech football season.
