Lubbock Driver Charged With Intoxication Assault

A Lubbock man is now charged with intoxication assault for a collision on North Loop 289 September 23rd.

Police say Joseph Jeffrey was drunk and driving the wrong way when he hit a truck and slammed into a pole.

Jeffrey broke his leg and the driver of the truck was treated for critical injuries.
