Four Lubbockites are sitting on Texas's Death Row. Whether or not they will be executed may be up to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Wednesday, the State of Texas halted all planned lethal injections for the rest of the year. Twenty-six prisoners have already been executed in Huntsville this year. But, federal and state judges have stopped the last four executions.

Now, the U.S. Supreme Court is planning to review the legality of lethal injections. Their decision isn't expected until next year.

The four Lubbock murderers on death row are Vaughn Ross, Joe Franco Garza Junior, Michael Yowell and Michael Rosales.
