1,700 People Participate In American Diabetes Walk

In the next 21 seconds, someone will be diagnosed with diabetes. But 1,700 people walked Saturday hoping to change that statistic. 

One hundred-fifty different teams took part in the American Diabetes Walk at Mackenzie Park Saturday morning. The event raised $215,000. All the money will go to diabetes research.
