Jury Duty Scam Resurfaces

If you receive a call about missing your jury duty, beware!

The FBI and the Texas Attorney General's Office say it may be a scam.

The caller may be posing as a court officer, claiming there is now a warrant for your arrest. The scam artist will then tell you they can clear the warrant, if you will confirm your social security number, a checking account or credit card number.

If you believe this has happened to you, contact the Texas Attorney General's Office.
