Threat To Lubbock Judge Results in Jail Sentence

A threat to a U.S. Federal Judge will cost an inmate another year in prison.

In Dallas Monday, a judge sentenced Richard Gene Parrish to 24 months in prison for sending a threatening letter to Judge Sam Cummings in Lubbock. Parrish was serving time for another crime in a Lamesa prison at the time.
