Lubbock City Council Approves Cesar E. Chavez Drive

The Lubbock City Council has given its final approval to the renaming of a Lubbock Street.

In a 4-3 vote, council members voted to rename Canyon Lake Drive to Cesar E. Chavez Drive. Supporters say the move honors the civil rights leader.
