A Curry County Sheriff's Deputy accused of assaulting a woman has resigned.
Larry Garrison resigned Friday, more than two weeks after he was placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation into his conduct.
Garrison faces charges of assault and disorderly conduct.
According to a criminal complaint, he cursed and yelled at a woman he wanted to buy a vehicle from when she told him she wasn't going to sell it.
If convicted of the petty misdemeanor charges, he faces up to 90 days in jail and or a $500 fine.
