Thirty Teams Participate in Memory Walk - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Did you know there are currently more than 5.1 million Americans living with Alzheimer's Disease?

While there is no cure, close to 30 teams walked today because they have hope that one will be found.

The Memory Walk was held out at Mackenzie Park Sunday afternoon.

This is the second year for the event, but already organizers say it's grown.

Every dollar raised from Sunday's walk will either go to research or to support those suffering from Alzheimer's.
