Motorcycle Crash Near Abernathy Leads to Harley Davidson Lawsuit

A motorcycle accident on the South Plains is now part of a federal lawsuit against Harley Davidson motor company.

Donald Coffman and his son Steven were traveling from Plainview to Lubbock last September when Donald says the throttle control grip on his Harley malfunctioned near Abernathy.

Donald's arm was ripped off in the accident and both he and his son are now suing Harley Davidson.

The lawsuit also requests a recall of the Harley-Davidson Heritage Softtail Classic Model FLSTC.
