Lubbock Gas Prices Rising Fast - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Gas prices in Lubbock are rising fast. Some stations increased their prices by at least six cents over the weekend. The hike comes as oil price futures move to a record $93 a barrel.

Here in Lubbock, that translates to an average of $2.79 per gallon for unleaded gas. The lowest price we found was at Boltons for $2.74 a gallon.

And drivers say they're confused why prices vary from city to city.
