Research Shows Tobacco Doesn't Increase Cancer Risk

While doctors say smoking can lead to a host of health problems, including some cancers, a new study indicates smoking may not lead to more aggressive or advanced breast cancer.

That's the result of 35 years worth of data including more than 6,000 patients. Researchers started the project thinking tobacco would increase the risk for advanced breast cancer, but they say that doesn't appear to be the case.

However, the question of whether smoking affects survival remains to be answered.
