Sharp and Lady Raiders to be Honored by Contact Lubbock, Inc.

The Texas Tech women's basketball coach Marsha Sharp and the Lady Raiders will be honored Thursday, April 4th at 7:45 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena by CONTACT Lubbock, Inc. This year marks the 20th season of excellence for the Lady Raiders and for Sharp to serve as head coach.

To celebrate the occasion, CONTACT Lubbock, Inc., a local non-profit agency, will host a tribute to Sharp and the Lady Raiders. The tribute will include a video presentation and keynote address by Sharp and the Lady Raiders from 7:45 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena.

As a part of the celebration, the local community has been asked to contribute to the commemorative souvenir program, which will include highlights of all 20 seasons with each of the Lady Raiders, past and present, included along with highlights of Sharp.

CONTACT Lubbock is a 24/7 crisis intervention and information and referral line. The proceeds from this tribute will be used to start an operating endowment fund in Sharp and the Lady Raiders' name to be used for the adult crisis intervention operating fund.
