Women Arrested in Drunk Driving Accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Two women are behind bars following a drunk driving accident in Lubbock. Police say an 18-year-old woman drove around the construction barricades on 19th street and the Marsha Sharp Freeway around midnight Thursday.

She drove into the construction zone and hit a steel support beam. The girl told police that she did not see the beam. Neither the driver or her passenger were injured. Police arrested the driver after she failed field sobriety tests. They arrested her passnger for public intoxication.
