Four People Arrested in Police Chase

Four people are in custody following a police chase through parts of Lubbock and Crosby counties. It began around 1:30 a.m. Thursday when an Idalou police officer tried to stop a Lincoln Continental on Highway 62/82 between Lubbock and Idalou.

The driver sped off, leading officers through Idalou and into Crosby county. During the chase, someone inside the car threw beer cans out of the passenger window. One of the cans hit the officer's car.

The chase ended about 6 miles north of Lorenzo, on F.M. 378. Police arrested two males and two females. Officers from Lorenzo, Ralls, and the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office assisted in the chase.
