CASA Volunteers Needed

CASA of the South Plains wants to continue to advocate for every child making sure their voices are heard in the courtroom. The organization does NOT want to have to turn their backs on any abused child because of a lack of funding, or lack of volunteers.

Volunteers will be properly taught the necessary skills to help advocate for local children in need. CASA is desperately in need of volunteers as the number of child abuse cases on the South Plains continues to rise.

Last year the South Plains region had the second highest number of confirmed victims of child abuse per capita in the state of Texas. So far this year, CASA workers and volunteers have already helped more than 872 local victims of child abuse. However, there are more than 300 children waiting for a volunteer to be their hero!

Anyone interested in joining their team should call CASA at (806) 763-CASA, or (click here).
