Suspect in Yugovich Attack Pleads Guilty, Sentenced

One of four people charged in the brutal beating of a Lubbock man has pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated robbery.

Tommy Yugovich was critically injured when the suspects beat him with a lead pipe in March of 2007. His girlfriend, Michelle Pierce, was also injured in the attack. Yugovich has spent many months in rehabilitation following the incident.

Don Russell Green, 23, will now spend 25 years in prison.

Three others were indicted for the crime. Cases are still pending against Tammy Lynn Timms, Paul Timms, and Jerry Don Castle.
