Nearly a third of high school seniors say they've either driven while drunk or been in the car with an impaired driver.
That's according to a new study from the National Institutes of Health. From what they call a national sample of seniors, it showed that, in 2006, 30-percent of high school seniors said they'd driven after drinking heavily or using drugs or had been in a car with a driver who had.
The concern that prompted the survey is vehicle accidents are a leading cause of death among 15 to 20 year olds.
