Pit Bull Attacks and Kills Neighbor's Dog in Central Lubbock

Posted:

Another pit bull attack in central Lubbock has neighbors concerned.

Police responded to the 2500 block of 37th street Tuesday. The caller told police a pit bull got into the back yard and attacked their dog.

We've learned the dog that lived there died from it's injuries. Now, neighbors say they're worried about the safety of their pets.

Neighbor Jimmy Nichols said, "We've had problems with loose dogs in this neighborhood before, and some of them are kind of frightening looking, and yes it does make us afraid."

Animal control couldn't find the dog in question.
