Why Are Pit Bulls Aggressive?

Posted: Updated:

Another pit bull attack in central Lubbock has neighbors concerned.

Police responded to the 2500 block of 37th street Tuesday. The caller told police a pit bull got into the back yard and killed their dog. Now, neighbors say they're worried about the safety of their pets.

"We've had problems with loose dogs in this neighborhood before," said Jimmy Nichols. "And some of them are kind of frightening looking, and yes it does make us afraid."

NewsChannel 11 is learning more about this breed, to better understand why they are so aggressive. The story - tonight at six.
