The Plains Capital Bank at 15th and Avenue J are just a few blocks away from where officers arrested the suspect at 16th and Avenue O. From the time the initial call came in, to the time he was arrested, was about six minutes.

"The original call came into use at 11:44am. The alarm came in at 11:46am. Our officers were on the scene by 11:48 and the suspect was in custody by 11:50," said Lt. Greg Stevens with the Lubbock Police.

The suspect has been identified as Michael Paul Harris. Police say the 30- year-old handed the teller a note, demanded money and fled the scene. A weapon was not used in this robbery and the amount of money he got hasn't been disclosed.

"Nobody was injured... No assault occurred other than the robber in and of itself," added Lt. Stevens.
